These for special applications developed systems are suited in particular for the supply of drills with inner cooling with an adverse diameter-length-rate. The pressed cooling medium assures, that peak of drill is cooled sufficiently and shavings are flushed out of drill hole. Considerable deeper boreholes can be realized at high quality and eminent endurance.
Special applications as deep hole drilling, male and female threads, thread whirling and thread milling require pressures above 50 bar. For such purposes we at Maier use screw spindel pumps to reduce tool endurance and advance quality of turned parts. Shorter production time, high accuracy due to cooling and improved surface finish because of lubrication effect is reached. The pump is integrated directly in the control system and can be operated by M-orders.
