The F Series. "State of the Art" machines for complete machining
Today's challenging market, demands a machine concept; capable of machining the most complex components, in the shortest amount of time and with the highest quality. Maier Machine Tools meets that demand, head on, with its new machine line: the F-Series. Four independent machining zones, define its unique capability to "complete" complex components with a genuine 4-part-system. This, coupled with the "innovative" C axis turrent system, make the Maier F Series a true, "tour de force" among Swiss style machines.
The ML-F2
With its 15 axes and up to 38 tools, the ML-F2 leaves nothing to chance. The two, "C" axis tool turrets have 16 tool stations a piece, allowing for unsurpassed tooling flexibility. Turret one (head 3) works primarily on the main spindle, while turret two can work on both the main and the sub spindle, simultaneously. Therefore, machining with 4 tools, "in the cut" is possible.
Processes such as, thread whirling, gear hobbing/milling, deep hole drilling and pinch turning are easily performed.
